🛡️ Safety First: How to Identify Your Gas Valve Date Code
For your safety, it is essential to monitor the age of your gas valve. Each valve is stamped with a 4-digit Date Code to help you track its service life and plan for a timely replacement.
How to read the code:
The production date of the valve is indicated as shown in the image
- First 2 digits: The Year (e.g., "26" = 2026)
- Last 2 digits: The Week (e.g., "12" = 12th week of the year)
Date: 12th week of 2026 |
If the code is "2612", your valve was manufactured in the 12th week of 2026. |
Date: 3rd week of 2015 |
If the code is "1503", your valve was manufactured in the 3rd week of 2015. |
